Wendy (she/her) graduated from Yorkville University in 2021, with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, after completion of a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology through MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta. Wendy takes a client-centered approach to helping individuals and couples achieve their goals. She believes clients know themselves best, and aspires to help them find the most effective tools and strategies for their individual needs and style.
Wendy has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which can be helpful for the treatment of depression, anxiety, and chronic pain symptoms. She believes a one-size-fits-all approach is often not sustainable and may incorporate multiple strategies as needed to better meet clients’ needs.
When Wendy is not working, she enjoys creative pursuits such as crocheting, sewing, painting, and writing. She also loves camping and spending time outdoors with her family.
