Linda Forde

Linda Forde, M.Sc. (MFT)

Registered Psychologist

Linda (she/her) is passionate about assisting those struggling with mental health concerns. Linda completed her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Toronto. Prior to registering as a psychologist, Linda worked at Yellowhead Youth Centre and Boyle Street Community Services. Her previous work experience in the non-profit sector and Alberta Health Services has developed her ability to work with diverse populations.

Linda uses a variety of therapies in her eclectic approach including:

  • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Play Therapy
  • Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Structural Family Therapy

Linda’s friendly and empathetic style helps people to feel comfortable and begin working toward healthy change. Linda provides individual, couple, and family counselling. She works with all ages, from children to seniors. Linda provides therapy services in these areas:
