Emily Peters (she/her) received a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from the University of North Dakota. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Psychological Assessment from Concordia University, Edmonton, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta. Her thesis research through the Honors program earned an Award of Excellence from the Canadian Psychological Association. Emily is a psychological assistant and mental health therapist. She joined Kells in 2019 and is currently in the process of becoming a registered provisional psychologist.
In her role as a Mental Health Therapist, Emily takes a trauma-informed empathetic, non-judgmental, and warm approach. Based on a client’s individual support needs, she pulls from elements of the following modalities:
